Promat Expansion Joints are highly compressible, flexible, water resistant fire seals which are used where movement joints are formed in the structure of buildings.


Benefits:

    • Fire tested for 240 minutes in masonry and concrete walls and concrete floor joints.


      Applications:

      Promat Expansion Joints consists of layers of intumescent material bonded to a Class foam and has been successfully fire tested for 240 minutes in joints within masonry and concrete walls and concrete floors.  

      When more than one length of Expansion Joint Strip is required in a joint, ensure the two pieces are butted tightly together and there is no gap between adjoining ends.  Ensure the stip is compressed to tight-fit to suit the gap width.  See the Techical Data Sheet for further information.
